Alright guys. Today, we're going to go over the pros and cons of billboard marketing. All right? This is outdoor, offline marketing versus online billboards, AKA ads, internet marketing ads. Which one is the most powerful? Which one is the most extreme and effective? Which one gets you the better cost? I don't really like doing all that ROI stuff, but a lot of you business people do. You get caught up on that. So today we're going to discuss those billboards, which are offline, billboard advertising versus online billboards, which is things like well, we do it in a different peculiar way on Facebook, YouTube, et cetera. Okay? I mean, talk about one of the hugest money suckers that makes no sense. For people that are so big on ROI, you would think they would be smarter than to get billboards. Okay? I mean, it's horrible. All right. Now this one is pretty cool, but you're still going to need some help to get it down. You see what I'm saying? And these are the same things you can do online. Okay? So, over here on Facebook, you can put a video, you can put an image, you can put just a text ad. You can put like one of those text message typer type ads and everything. The most important part is that you can target exactly who you know will be purchasing through you. You see what I'm saying? So this is why businesses should just take whatever budget they already have offline and bring it online and use online billboards. Okay? Stop with the billboard advertising locally, and now you'll be able to scale super fast and you'll be able to track the leads where they're coming from. You'll be able to really, really know your target demographic now, how your ROI, that's one of the names that you used for conversions and all of that. You will be able to track all of those things with online billboards. All right?

All right. And then we're going to discuss why a person would choose online billboards over offline billboards. Okay? So these look familiar. You've been driving on the highway, you see these and everything. All right? This one looks very familiar. All right? Or let's check out this one right here. Okay. So what is the power in it? First, you have to think of the thinking behind it. All right. These are local business owners that would love for their businesses to be shown to the city, shown to passerby's with hopes of them becoming a lead or a sale, a phone call or something of that sort. Okay? The problem with it is real estate. Okay? So it's very expensive to put up a billboard right here, but also not only the expense, the conversion rate is extremely low and difficult to track. All right. Do you guys see that there is no logic in still doing billboard advertising? I hope you guys can see. I pray that you guys can see that there is literally no hope in doing billboard advertising. So for those of you who are drop servicing, watching this right now, this is an opportunity. You can literally get in your cars, ride down the highway. I strongly suggest you park or have a passenger ride with you. All right? And have them snap a photo of the companies that are advertising on these billboards and get their contact information and email them and be like, "Yo," or not just email them, hit them up on social media, ask them what the heck are they doing spending around $20,000 on a freaking billboard that people are going to drive past and only have two seconds or three seconds to see and not even copy it down to become a lead or a sale. Okay?

What I mean by that? Well, when was the last time you were on a highway and you were actually able to become a full lead? Sometimes when I did this test myself, I literally had to get off the highway and come back around from the next exit in order to finish writing down what the billboard was saying. Okay? So, if you're driving on a highway doing over 55 miles and you look up and you see this billboard and you're interested, it's kind of difficult to hurry up and get the information. Back in the day before phones, when you couldn't take a picture with a picture phone or whatever, you had to write it down. All right? And then you can pull over on the highway, like if something wrong with the car, but then it's just super embarrassing. This is not effective marketing at all. Okay? If you're trying to promote some type of family vehicle or something, you can target whether or not the man is a father or a husband. Boom. You cannot do that with an offline freaking billboard. It stays there. It's stationary. Once they pass it up, that's it, unless you just have something so powerful, your message is so powerful that they're going to get off at the next exit and come back around and pray that they are fast enough to either write it down or snap a picture without crashing next time. You see what I'm saying?
BILLBOARD COMPANIES IN ST.LOUIS MO
So that's the issue. All right? Like most of the time, you will only get half of the number. If you're writing it down, you only get half of the number. Now you might be able to just lift your phone and take a shot with the camera phone. Okay? So now if a person is that motivated, especially if they're the passenger, because the drivers should not be handling their phones. That's another thing. It's extremely dangerous, man. Unless they have a very good memory and they just look up and they're going to remember the number on a billboard, then maybe that's the case. But most of the time, if a person is driving, they're not going to be able to look up long enough at one spot without crashing. Okay? This one was pretty cool. I can't lie. Health insurance giant. That's cool. But guess what? You can do that online as well. Boom. Let's come over here. All right. So this is Facebook. A lot of you guys should know what Facebook is. All right. Well, guess what? Now, remember one of the cons was that you don't have a targeted focus. Well guess what? If this local business, or let's say it's Mercedes or something, one of these luxury car dealerships or something. And I asked them, "What is the demographics like? How old are the purchasers that you typically get?" Okay? And they say, "Between the ages of 35 and 60." Okay? Guess what? On Facebook we can target between ages of 35 and 60. And it's usually men, business men or something. Okay? Is it men with an actual job or is it men like entrepreneurs? Guess what? You can target entrepreneurs in here in that same city. You see what I'm saying? Or employed men. You can target them. Okay?
COST OF BILLBOARD ADVERTISING ST.LOUIS
So I'm going to show you some expenses. All right, let's do this. Cost of billboard advertising? All right. Now, me, I could care less about the cost. It's about what it's going to be bringing in. Okay? So I could care less about the cost. In smaller cities, you might be able to get one for around four grand or something, but in larger cities, they can be all the way up to what, 15 or $30,000. I had a list where it was showing billboard costs. Okay. In New York, billboards can be like 12 grand. LA around nine grand. Blah, blah, blah. So they vary per city depending on how big the city is and the traffic. Okay?So this is why billboards are extremely not effective. They're not effective to me. Okay? They can work for branding if you have them in many different places and many different highway passes or exit ramps or intersections or something like that, depending on your placement. But the better your placement, the more expensive it's going to be. All right? So keep watching this because by the end of this video, you're going to see that we can pull in way more traffic than these billboards, and literally drain the traffic in the cities. And not only that, with a billboard, an offline billboard, you're getting just broad traffic. You don't know who is looking and they might not be that interesting and you're wasting advertising dollars, but online billboards can actually target interested people, people that are interested in what you actually have to offer. Okay? So people need to get out of the groove of the offline billboard advertising movement. It is 2020 at the time that I'm recording this video. All right? So you can decide whether or not you want it on Instagram, Facebook, all of those are the different partners of Facebook. And you will come through here, you choose your budget. You can choose all the way down to like $5 a day and you can target the entire dang on city. I just don't understand why people are still doing billboard advertising. But for a drop service, this is a dream come true to have a business with a budget this big, so you don't even have the charge them. They have a budget this big, and you can help them as a partner, get more customers into their businesses. Okay?
CHEAP BILLBOARD ADS IN STL
So guys, this is why. Okay? So let's look at some other pros and cons. All right. Pros and cons of advertising billboard. All right. Billboard advertising have a significantly larger region than other advertising media. This must be extremely old. That's a lie. Okay. Reach a specific audience. That's a huge lie. Get more bang for your buck. Another lie. Lack of targeted focus. Now that is the truth. That is the truth. It's kind of difficult to pinpoint who you're going to be getting from your billboard, just placing it on the side of a dang on highway or building or something. Start up and maintenance costs extremely expensive. Ad blindness and visual pollution. Super true. Like I just mentioned a minute ago, a person might look at it for like two seconds, but they can get in a car accident if they're sitting there looking at it long enough to write down the number or take photos of it or something. You see what I'm saying? Look at endless articles just talking about the pros and cons of billboard advertising. You guys can check it out if you want to. But I believe billboard advertising, a lot of these big brands still haven't made the huge leap to online yet. They're still very stuck in tradition, still want to use their own marketing channels and connections and stuff. So there's a lot of people stuck out there. Okay? So if you're trying to get offline clients, which I don't teach, but if you're trying to get like drop servers and partners or something, then this is an option right here. These people need assistance getting on line, which is why they're still doing these old school marketing tactics like this. Billboard marketing sucks. Okay? I'm just going to be honest with you. Okay? It looks cool. You know what I'm saying? Hey, I got my face on the side of a big billboard and my major cities, all my friends are going to see it. Maybe. Maybe. You know what I'm saying? And then they have to go down a particular highway or a road in order to even see it. It can't follow them around, which leads over to what I wanted to say So if you're new to the channel, then definitely go ahead and subscribe. And I think I'm going to do newspaper advertising next. Okay? Talk about prehistoric. If you're new to the channel, subscribe, hit the notification bell. If you haven't already gotten a godfather drop servicing course, I strongly suggest you go to that first link in the description of the video or the first pan comment. And I'll see you guys on the inside for coaching. So if you guys have questions, other than that, you can leave them in the comments section as well. Love to love to love you. Love you, love you.
